About Us
Our Story
At Run of the Mill Theatre Productions (ROM for short!), we aim to draw upon the creativity of the larger Iowa City/Coralville community to produce live theatre free from the constraints limiting larger production companies. With our expertise and your vision, seasoned professionals and newcomers alike can come together to enjoy the magic of live theatre. Check out our upcoming shows in the Events section!
Our Mission
Run of the Mill Theatre Productions (RoM) was born in 2017 as the brainchild of Rich LeMay and Luke Brown. Performances were originally housed at The Mill Restaurant in Iowa City. Now, though the Mill is gone, Run of the Mill Theatre lives on with help from both the community and its core team members.
RoM strives to make live theatre accessible to all lay-folk and thespians within the eastern Iowa Corridor Community. We believe that small-scale, intimate shows in a casual setting provide the best opportunity for self expression. Theatre gives its participants the chance to empathize with all walks of life and harness the power of Truth to create a visceral and engaging experience for everyone involved. Run of the Mill Theatre Productions hopes to imbue this virtue into each of its shows.
